The Group: The Information Products group is the home of manufacturing and innovation at Morningstar. The individuals in this group transform our high-quality data, independent research, and technological expertise into well-designed products that delight our clients. The group’s product management, product development, and service teams collaborate with our Client Solutions group to help them provide clients with relevant products and bundled solutions.

The Role: Morningstar seeks Operations Analyst to join our operations. This role will play a key role in our mission to provide exceptional client service by ensuring our production processes for all the Moringstar Publishing System and Data Feed clients. The key application to manage the deliveries and QC of factsheet deliveries is MPS. The MPS as a platform facilitates us to monitor the delivery batches, re-run the batches, ensure the quality control and many more functions. This position is based in our Mumbai office.

Responsibilities
•    Be part of the team that own and execute on the production processes for global factsheet clients on Morningsta Publishing System. Develop to ensure a thorough ownership of the process and understanding of the product, and the data delivered to the clients.
•    Assure the quality of the incoming and outgoing data used in MPS is PERFECT. Work with external and internal project stakeholders to ensure the content of the output produced matches the client requirements.
•    Work on preparing various reports on Morningstar Direct.
•    Work close to the data teams globally to coordinate and assist with ensuring data availability for our live clients.
•    Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reducing operational risk through the automation of operational tasks and/or improvement of existing processes.
•    Keep documentation of the data processes up to date, and proactively ensure that the operation risks are kept at a minimum.
•    Work close to the technology team to assist with new feature releases in the software product.

Requirements: 
•    Demonstrate a significant degree of experience in Operational activities, working on new initiatives and project implementation management.
•  Mutual Fund - Domain Preferred - Local & Global Markets.
•    A proven track record of managing client projects with contractual timelines and scope.
•    Aptitude to learn new products and technical concepts.
•    Knowledge of Morningstar Direct basics will be a value add.
•    Should be well versed with the basic knowledge financial instruments and financial concepts.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
•    Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with both local and international stakeholders including the capabilities to develop rapport and establish trust.
•    Ease dealing with ambiguity; ability to create focus and keep the team on track.
•    Educated to degree level, an advanced degree is a plus.
•    Minimum 3 years of experience
