Job Summary
The position requires the Customer Service Representative to work closely with all sales representatives in Pennsylvania. As customers may reach out through various communication channels, the representative will be responsible for handling new orders and any concerns related to past or current orders. Upon receiving a new order, the representative will create a sales order or invoice and communicate the details to the self-distribution management team to prepare for the next delivery day.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising day-to-day operations in the customer service department
- Responding to customer service issues in a timely manner via phone call, text and emails
- Create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards
- Developing customer satisfaction goals and coordinating with the team to meet them on a steady basis
- Maintaining accurate records and documenting all customer service activities and discussions
- Assessing service statistics and preparing detailed reports on your findings
- Deliver all orders to Self-Distribution team to ensure delivery process is handled carefully and in a timely matter
- Working with customers to understand their orders as well as inform them of any information that could impact their order, i.e. meeting a close quantity discount or product issues
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Demonstrated ability to handle customer calls displaying good phone skills - Track record of serving others and putting team goals first
- Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility
- Ability to work on-site in our warehouse at 13000 McNulty Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154 with reliable transportation
- Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
- Military experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Estimated Base Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000 USD.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
- The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
