PRIMARY CARE NURSE I (FHC)

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORK Under general supervision performs nursing work. Responsible for providing nursing care and accurate health information to clients in a primary care center under the auspices of the Family Health Centers (FHC). Assesses patient and family health care needs, counsels patients and families, and participates in developing and implementing care plans. Instructs patients and families in health education and disease prevention.
