We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager to take ownership of our sales activities for electromagnetic (EMM) powders across the EMEA region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial responsibility with technical expertise and thrives in a customer-facing position within a complex, industrial environment.
You will play a key role in driving business growth by developing existing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across selected segments. Working closely with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and other industrial customers, you will navigate technically demanding and long-term sales processes, acting as a trusted partner throughout.
Technical engagement with both new and existing customers will be a key activity to ensure the organization is continuously informed about customer material and process requirements. In addition, the role will guide customers in optimizing their manufacturing processes, provide processing recommendations, and help establish robust production of EMM powder-based components.
In this role, you will:
· Drive and manage sales activities for electromagnetic powders across the EMEA region
· Handle day-to-day sales operations, including inquiries, quotations, order management, delivery follow-up, and claims handling
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying new business opportunities
· Provide technical guidance on material selection, processing, and application performance
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, technical experts, business development, and sales) to support sampling, testing, and technical problem-solving
· Manage contracts, pricing discussions, and commercial terms, including renewals
· Represent the company in customer meetings, technical discussions, and industry events
In addition to the operational and customer-facing aspects of the role, you will also take ownership of performance tracking and business planning. You will monitor sales development, contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes, and ensure a structured and data-driven approach to sales management. Staying up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging applications and sectors will be essential, as well sharing customer insights and their material requirements internally to support continuous product and application development.
Travel: Up to 40% within the EMEA region.
About You
· Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
· Minimum 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales, account management, and/or technical support or similar roles
· Experience in electric motors, power electronics, automotive, or similar industrial applications is highly valued
· Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or industrial customers
· Experience in contract management, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations
· Solid understanding of forecasting, margin tracking, and profitability analysis
· Proficiency in CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and structured sales reporting
· Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
Who You Are
You are a proactive and self-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. With a natural customer focus and service mindset, you build trust and long-term relationships while also driving business forward. You are technically curious and comfortable engaging in in-depth discussions with engineers and specialists.
At the same time, you are structured and analytical in your way of working, with a strong discipline for reporting and follow-up. You enjoy collaborating across functions and are a strong communicator, yet you are equally comfortable working independently in a role without direct reports.
