To support this ambition, we are looking for a Policy Manager Chemicals to strengthen our Regulatory & Governmental Affairs team in Brussels. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of policy, operations and business, helping Electrolux anticipate and comply with chemical legislation while safeguarding our interests in the development of future EU policies.

Your impact

As Policy Manager Chemicals, you are responsible for coordinating operational activities to ensure compliance with chemical requirements, while also leading Electrolux’s policy work related to upcoming chemical legislation. You work closely with colleagues across product lines, R&D, Quality, Sales and Marketing, as well as with central experts and global functions.

Your work directly supports Electrolux’s ability to deliver safe, compliant and sustainable products, now and in the future.

You will report to the VP Regulatory & Governmental Affairs Europe and be based in our Brussels office, at the heart of EU decision‑making.

What you will do

  • Proactively coordinate and support product lines, R&D, quality, sales and marketing on chemical compliance topics

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to secure compliance with chemical requirements, providing operational support where needed

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EU and national chemical policy and legislation

  • Represent Electrolux in relevant working groups of European industry associations

  • Coordinate internal colleagues participating in national industry association working groups

  • Monitor and assess the evolution of EU and national chemical legislation and policy

  • Engage with policymakers and other decision‑makers to represent company positions

What you bring

  • Operational experience in quality or compliance‑related activities

  • Proven experience in EU affairs, specifically within the chemical policy area

  • Master’s degree in Political Science, Natural Sciences, or another relevant field

  • Strong ability to work in a multinational, multicultural environment

  • Capability to manage and influence a broad internal and external stakeholder network

  • Experience drafting position papers and translating policy into operational plans

Why join us?

At Electrolux, we take responsibility for our development in a supportive and inclusive environment, where differences are valued and collaboration is key. You will work in a truly international setting, with exposure to senior stakeholders and EU decision‑making at the highest level — while contributing to more sustainable living for millions of consumers worldwide.
