
Creator Network (Agency) Growth Lead - TikTok LIVE
Job Description
TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.
Role: Creator Networks (CNs) are agency partners that collaborate with the platform to recruit, train, manage, and grow LIVE creators, helping them monetize content and expand their audiences on TikTok LIVE. Creator Network Managers (CNMs) serve as strategic business partners to these agencies, sourcing and onboarding them, coaching them to innovate, scale their operations, and increase the value they deliver to the platform. Creator Network (Agency) Growth Leads are leaders that manage a team of CNMs and own a functional area inside the CN team.
What You’ll Do
- New CN Business Development and Onboarding
- Own the new CN growth metrics and deliver aggressive OKR targets. Metrics include new CN count, CN graduation count and rate, new CN revenue, and other quality metrics.
- Develop the quarterly/annual business plans for acquiring and onboarding new CNs, set goals and projects for the new CN team. Develop tailored BD strategies for different archetypes of CN owners.
- Lead the team to deploy inbound and outbound BD channels to promote awareness and traction of the CN business model. Effectively generate leads for the target archetypes in volume and have a clear measurement mechanism for quality of leads.
- Improve leads conversion to contract sign funnel, clearly track conversion funnel efficiency, and iterate operation tactics to increase conversion rate.
- Build structured onboarding program to train and empower new CNs to reach key operational milestones within expected time frame, identify opportunity areas to increase kickoff and initial success of new CNs to increase their engagement and commitment to the LIVE business.
- Continuously refresh and synthesize operational best practices and lead the team to conduct at-scale training and empowerment to new CNs to ensure they keep deploying the new tactics.
- Identify common painpoints of new CNs, lead the team to find solutions, and work together with product team and other central teams to improve tools and solutions for new CNs systematically.
- Map out the roadmap for new CNs to timely graduate to mature CN and drive faster and more efficient graduations. Improve graduation related metrics.
- Obtain high level of data fluency for all metrics and datasets, and can independently pull data to conduct basic analysis for CN performance, and train team members on data usage.
- Mature CN Scalability Operation
- Own the mature CN growth metrics and deliver aggressive OKR targets. Metrics include CN revenue, growth rate, and a set of quality metrics that measure the operation quality of the CNs.
- Develop the quarterly/annual business plans for managing mature CNs, set goals and projects for the mature CN team. Develop in-depth CN management SOP for driving CN's operational improvement and scalability results.
- Lead a team of experienced CNMs to customize the growth strategy for each CN under management, set annual / quarterly / monthly goals for the CNs and align on the growth path.
- Build strong trust with the CN partners to gain insights into their operation status, strategically identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop strong expertise in CN operational best practices and business analytics based on the RICHA model. Master internal data portals and tools to generate insights, identify coaching opportunities, and define tailored improvement actions. Demonstrate results and impact of the actions to strengthen the trust with CNs.
- Design performance incentives and leverage internal resources to systematically drive CN milestone achievements and quality improvements. Deliver go-to-market education on CN and platform campaigns to ensure strong participation and measurable results.
- Innovate and initiate special projects that have spillover impact on the whole LIVE industry in the US. Lead the team to actively participate in Ops and XFN initiatives from the platform and deliver expected results.
- Proactively identify common issues faced by CNs, and creatively solve problems leveraging the Ops team and other central team resources.
- Document the best practices from CNs under management, and provide regular sharings to inform the larger CN team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with 5+ years of experience in external-facing roles such as account management, sales, or business development. Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
- Adapt to fast-paced, constantly-changing environments. Always day 1 mentality with changes in organizational structure, business direction, and responsibilities.
- Experience owning revenue KPIs and/or OKRs and core business targets.
- Strong strategic communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions through clear, persuasive arguments and effective negotiation.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making; comfortable using dashboards and data tools for analysis and insights.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in a professional environment.
