Provides and maintains a safe physical environment. Adheres to standards and protocols when working in the operating room and sterile processing. Displays working knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies. Follows department and hospital policies and regulatory standards. Maintains aseptic technique at all times. Carries out responsibilities in an appropriate manner. Works collaboratively as a member of the surgical team. Manages workload efficiently. Uses equipment proficiently and safely. Assists in the assembly, set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of the sterile field. Supports the surgical team by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Participates in the care of the surgical patient. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Must be proficient in the English language. [Required]

Education:
• Associate [Required]
Field of Study:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology Program or Military Training Program in Surgical Technology
Work Experience:
• 1+ experience as a surgical technologist in an operating room [Preferred]
• 1+ years related experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
