Works with minimal supervision to perform and score standard and complex sleep studies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists Or 
  • Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
  • Complete a minimum of 18 months of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, OR
  • Complete a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience where he duties performed are primarily polysomnography, and the applicant holds a credential in an allied health field accepted by the BRPT (e.g., nursing, respiratory care, electro neuro diagnostics). Applicants MUST submit a copy of a certificate or official correspondence from the credentialing agency with their application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Successful completion of an accredited course in polysomnographic testing.
  • Associate's Degree Or Continued education involving the basic sciences and 1 year experience in hospital setting or an allied health field.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
