Job Summary:
Positions include 9-month work calendars and may be full-time or part-time. Full-time employees (7-8 hours/day, are eligible for health/dental benefits, long-term disability, and life insurance. A part-time para may also choose to interview with the After School Program (ASP) to have enough hours to become full-time and receive benefits. Para positions are on-going throughout the school year.
All district employees are required to participate in the Nebraska Public Employee Retirement System (NPERS), contributions by each employee (set by state law) are matched by the District.
All classified positions receive paid leave based on your work assignment.
Qualifications:
Applicants for para-educator positions are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to speak and read English is essential for the job duties of the position.
Bilingual skills are valued but not required.
