ERP Planning to MFG Integrated App Owner

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of the ERP Program Execution team, which focuses on Oracle ERP conversions, implementations, and process improvement initiatives across Wabtec’s manufacturing and distribution sites. The team partners closely with business stakeholders to deploy Oracle ERP (E‑Business Suite R12) at acquired locations or sites transitioning from legacy ERPs.

Within this team, you will primarily support the Planning to Manufacturing workstream, covering end‑to‑end processes related to Items, Bills of Material, Routings, MRP Planning, Inventory Management, and Work in Process.

How will you make a difference?

As the ERP Planning to Manufacturing Integrated Application Owner, you will play a critical role in supporting Wabtec’s ERP consolidation strategy. You will act as the IT Application Owner for two new third‑party applications integrated with Oracle EBS, leading deployments, supporting business users, and ensuring seamless integration across manufacturing and supply chain processes.

This role supports global manufacturing and distribution sites, partners closely with Business Application Owners and Global Process Owners, and reports to Chuck Borowy. You will be responsible for leading IT delivery, application ownership, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives across Oracle and integrated solutions.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an IT‑related field (MIS, Computer Science, IT Security) or Supply Chain
• Project Management experience
• Experience using an ERP system (preferably Oracle) or executing ERP projects
• Ability to research Oracle functionality and issues using online resources 
• Experience with data mining and SQL 
• Advanced/Fluent English
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

What will your typical day look like?

• Act as the IT Application Owner for two new third‑party applications integrated with Oracle EBS, supporting Receiving, Picking, and Demand Forecasting processes.
• Partner with Business Application Owners as IT Project Lead to deploy applications to pilot and future Oracle sites.
• Lead application setup, configuration, and integration activities across Oracle and third‑party systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface and data issues between Oracle EBS and third‑party applications.
• Maintain technical and functional documentation, including data mappings and integration flows.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal Wabtec IT teams (Application, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure).
• Support deployment and maintenance of mobile devices used on the shop floor in partnership with IT Shop Floor Devices teams.
• Manage purchase orders and receipts related to application licenses.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Oracle EBS modules including ASCP, Inventory, BOM, and WIP.
• Support ERP consolidation initiatives by configuring Oracle, leading data conversion, and executing SIT and UAT.
• Travel to manufacturing and distribution sites to understand physical material flows and operational processes.
• Demonstrate Oracle and integrated applications to end users during ERP implementations.
• Collaborate with Oracle development teams to enhance or troubleshoot custom programs and reports.
• Support existing Oracle EBS sites with process improvement initiatives and functional guidance.
