Director of National Accounts – C-Store & Grocery

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Position Overview

CFS Brands is seeking a Director of National Accounts – C-Store & Grocery to lead and grow strategic relationships with national and regional customers across the convenience store and grocery channels. This role is responsible for developing and executing account strategies that drive profitable growth, expand distribution, and strengthen CFS Brands’ position as a preferred solutions partner.

The ideal candidate is a high-impact, relationship-driven sales leader with deep experience navigating complex national accounts, category management, and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of national and strategic regional C-Store and Grocery accounts, driving top-line revenue and margin expansion
  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies, including assortment, pricing, promotions, innovation, and distribution expansion
  • Lead negotiations for national agreements, programs, and renewals, ensuring alignment with CFS Brands’ commercial and financial objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver best-in-class customer solutions
  • Translate customer insights, category trends, and competitive activity into actionable growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with distributor and broker partners to ensure strong execution at retail and DC levels
  • Forecast sales, manage pipelines, and deliver accurate reporting against targets and KPIs
  • Represent CFS Brands professionally with executive-level customer stakeholders and at industry events
  • Serve as a voice of the customer internally, influencing innovation, customization, and portfolio strategy


Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive sales or national account experience in C-Store, Grocery, Foodservice, or Consumer Products 
  • Proven success managing large, complex national accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of category management, retail operations, and distributor dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute high-value agreements
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation abilities
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel as required (typically 30–40%)
