Job Description
Summary of Performance Expectations:
Performs routine histopathological tests for use in the treatment and diagnosis of disease.
Education & Credentials:
Required
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
HT or HTL certification preferred. One year of college.
Work Experience:
Required
One year of experience in an approved histology laboratory. Proficiency in all areas of histology (accessioning, embedding, cutting, staining, mounting). Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
