Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Ensure smooth, safe, and reliable daily operations, conducting regular safety, housekeeping, and standard compliance audits.
Coordinate and report monthly site maintenance schedules to the Site Facility Manager, ensuring strict compliance with division procedures.
Evaluate maintenance delay justifications, audit vendor/Reliability Centre work quality quarterly, and ensure work orders close within three months.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all site incidents, implementing and tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) cross-site.
Manage Management of Change (MOC) approvals for non-routine modifications and review Safe Work Permits, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
Maintain CQC equipment uptime, review Critical Safety Valves (BSV) with corresponding SOPs, and execute quarterly Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAP).
Issue and follow up on Corrective Action Reports (CAR) for internal departments and external vendors to ensure satisfactory closure.
Ensure all site personnel are trained, qualified, and fully aware of their authorized tasks per Global Technology and Division procedures.
Manage site expenditures within the allocated OPEX budget and proactively identify, highlight, and justify CAPEX requirements for improvements.
Optimize supply reliability, plant availability, and IMS compliance while leading daily handovers, team building, and performance audits.
Are you a MATCH?
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the chemical industry; experience with Cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU) or Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) operations is an advantage.
Good understanding of process safety risk management tools such as HAZOP and FMEA; experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma tools is preferred.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to optimizing continuous production processes and operating effectively in an industrial plant environment.
Ability to work with a team of operations technicians, coordinate cross-functional activities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong team player, and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
