This position features a hybrid work environment following 90-days of employment. 

The Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requesting medical records and following up as needed 
  • Processing incoming medical records
  • Maintaining meticulous medical records spreadsheets in Excel
  • Serve as the primary backup for our receptionist 
  • Assist on various projects, communications, expenses and scheduling
  • Maintain schedules and calendars, independently organizing documents needed for project follow up, and providing reminders of upcoming meetings, conference calls, etc.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience as an administrative assistant, or comparable position, supporting upper management, experience with medical records preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, note taking, document management & organization
  • Flexible self-starter who demonstrates initiative & follow through
  • Superior communication both verbal and written skills
  • Strong proof reading, editing and writing skills
  • Ability to execute projects on an autonomous, proactive & timely basis
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Excel & Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Insurance coverage experience is a plus
