Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation. Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborates with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks do not interfere with patient care. Follows all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Installs, inspects, maintains, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems, performing essential repairs and other duties as requested. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs all HVAC mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under general supervision. Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls under general supervision. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Ability to identify equipment needs, parts and supplies, and maintain adequate inventory [Required]

• Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches [Required]
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form [Required]
• Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals [Required]
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist [Required]
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes [Required]
• Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment [Required]
• Basic Microsoft office computer skills [Required]
Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
• High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience required
Work Experience:
• 2+ healthcare maintenance [Preferred]
• 3+ hvac [Required]
