L3 Print Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS: 

Define and document processes and workflows for Print Strategy and deployments Research, assess and recommend new print devices Install and document configuration and operations for HP WebJet Admin and Xerox discovery tools Create and Manage standard Device configuration templates VPSX (Linux based) server monitoring, upgrades, change controls MS Print server monitoring, upgrades, change controls Print Portal (PrinterLogic) monitoring, upgrades, change controls Work with vendors to integrate new applications with VPSX as required Work with the SAP Team to modify configuration for SAP External Output manager as required Remote Print Device Configuration and Troubleshooting Work with other IT teams to integrate LDAP authentication and scan to email for new print device models Create SAP and VPSX printers Create Support Documentation (KBAs, Job aids) Prepare User Communication if necessary Manage escalations from Level 2 to 3 and vendors Manage escalations from all Zoetis sites globally

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: 4 years degree. Any print experience preferred but not required. Server OS experience. Linux/Unix. An eagerness to learn is required. Need a candidate with a lot more than just desktop support experience - the candidate should be able to lead server related projects. Manager also prefers a candidate who has experience working for a larger organizations.
