Job Description
Reports To: VP PowerFLX
Work Location: 8310 McHard Road, Houston, TX 77053
- Coordinate with leadership to define the scope of work for assigned projects and develop statements of work, work breakdown structures, task estimates, and specific tasks and milestones to implement customer or internal projects.
- Identify assumptions and constraints (technical, schedule, resource, and budget) for the project.
- Manage relationship with the customer and define expectations.
- Manage the project budget.
- Facilitate team and customer meetings.
- Communicate all pertinent information to the stakeholders.
- Understand pricing models and billing procedures.
- Provide feedback to project team on performance, provide input to performance appraisals.
- Monitor, control, and communicate to corporate management the status of customer and/or internal projects, with the attention to resource utilization, project costs, risk management, project profit margins, and the overall performance of assigned ProEnergy projects.
- University degree or college diploma in related field or 5+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project development and execution of fire protection projects.
- Must exhibit technical leadership and have experience with team building, process improvement, conflict resolution, and motivating people.
- Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Formal training in Project Management methods and techniques.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have strong communication skills and organizational skills

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization, upper management, and to outside vendors, regulatory officials, and customers.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions percentages area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, thermodynamics, chemistry, and electricity.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Demonstrates the ability to make competent decisions in emergency situations.
