Job Description

About us

HammondCare provides expert aged care, home care, dementia care and palliative care for older people, regardless of circumstances, beliefs, background or financial situation. We are led by our not-for-profit, Christian foundations and backed by research and clinical expertise.

When it comes to our people - those we serve and those who serve - we are committed to inclusion across race, culture, ethnicity, gender, sex, sexuality, religion and ability. In our innovative residences, our hospitals, or in client homes, we aim to set the global standard of relationship-based care for older people with complex needs.

We've been caring for people for over 90 years - so, if you love to care, join us, and make a career move that matters.

It’s not just care. It’s HammondCare.

About the role

The Data, AI Governance Analyst supports the effective operation of HammondCare’s data governance framework, ensuring that data is trusted, welldefined, protected, and usable across the organisation.

The role focuses on practical governance — helping data owners, system teams and business users do the right thing with data without creating unnecessary friction or overhead.

This role is critical to enabling safe analytics, reporting, AI and operational decisionmaking in a missionled, notforprofit environment.

This role takes a practical, handson approach to improving data quality and management, with a strong focus on building consistency, accuracy, and accountability. It works in a supportive and collaborative way with teams, positioning itself as an enabler rather than a policing function. By fostering trust and capability, the role helps drive better use of data to inform decisionmaking, ultimately supporting improved care outcomes and more effective operational performance.

This is a fixed term contract for 22 months at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.
