Maintenance Technician I (C Shift)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Assist in equipment repair and preventative maintenance procedures in the operation of the facility where employed. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Repairs, replaces, corrects or affects equipment as needed to ensure equipment operates correctly and efficiently according to production requirements. Consults with engineers and vendors as needed. Accomplishes layout work for each project as needed. Will be able to troubleshoot equipment. Meets safety requirements in accomplishing responsibilities of this position complying with all policies or regulations set forth by Simmons or various government agencies concerning safety, environment, vehicle, handling of food products, packaging, ingredients and any related items.
