Weld Technician - Afternoon Shift

Now Hiring: Weld Technician (2pm-10pm) Join our team as a Weld Technician on the afternoon shift! We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining high-quality tooling and supporting production efficiency. What You’ll Do As a Weld Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing paint jig tooling to ensure optimal performance. Your responsibilities will include: Perform cleaning operations for paint jig tooling, including: Operating industrial power washers Using paint stripping ovens Conduct gauging, maintenance, and repair of paint jig tooling Utilize metal fabrication tools and welding skills to complete repairs Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to develop and maintain cleaning schedules Maintain accurate documentation of tooling condition, maintenance, and repairs Communicate tooling status, concerns, and improvement opportunities to the team Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should bring: Completion of a welding skills assessment (used to establish baseline skill level) Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong time management skills to support production schedules A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment Clear verbal and written communication skills Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Why Join Us?
