ᴘᴜʀᴘᴏꜱᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴘᴏꜱɪᴛɪᴏɴ

This position, within the headquarters Accounting Department, reports to the Head of Accounting, and is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting processes and leading the accounting team, covering the full accounting cycle. The role serves as the primary owner of the global Finance policies and systems, ensuring alignment with local and international standards. It requires close collaboration with overseas subsidiaries, a global management perspective, and the ability to develop, coach, and mentor accounting staff.

𝟣.    ᴀᴄᴄᴏᴜɴᴛɪɴɢ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛᴀx ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴀɴᴄᴇ 
•    Provide professional accounting guidance by interpreting and applying EAS/GAAP and global Finance policies, proactively resolving operational issues across subsidiaries.
•    Define and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls, including the chart of accounts, ensuring consistency and alignment globally.
•    Ensure compliance with current and proposed legislation, minimizing legal and regulatory risks across all regions.
•    Provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial and management reporting, highlighting key risks and supporting effective decision-making.
•    Manage global-wide transfer pricing documentation and compliance in line with global TP policies, collaborating with overseas subsidiaries to ensure alignment with international tax regulations.
•    Monitor and maintain internal controls globally, including audits of overseas subsidiaries as necessary, and support financial audits to ensure effective governance and compliance globally.
•    Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure statutory compliance and optimize tax positions globally.
𝟤.    ᴍᴏɴᴛʜ-ᴇɴᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴘᴇʀɪᴏᴅɪᴄ ᴄʟᴏꜱɪɴɢ
•    Manage month-end and year-end closing activities according to global schedules, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies across all subsidiaries.
•    Review manufacturing cost closing activities, including inventory valuation and cost roll-up, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global accounting policies.
𝟥.    ᴘʀᴏᴄᴇꜱꜱ ᴇxᴄᴇʟʟᴇɴᴄᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱʏꜱᴛᴇᴍ ᴇɴʜᴀɴᴄᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ
•    Lead finance system and process improvements to enhance efficiency, data quality, and internal controls.
𝟦.    ᴛᴇᴀᴍ ʟᴇᴀᴅᴇʀꜱʜɪᴘ ᴀɴᴅ ᴅᴇᴠᴇʟᴏᴘᴍᴇɴᴛ
•    Directly lead and guide the accounting team, fostering professional growth and ensuring effective performance management with a global mindset.
•    Build a collaborative, high-performing team culture aligned with global Finance standards.
𝟧.    ꜱ𝟦 ᴘʀᴏᴊᴇᴄᴛ ᴀɴᴅ ᴀᴅ-ʜᴏᴄ ꜰɪɴᴀɴᴄᴇ ɪɴɪᴛɪᴀᴛɪᴠᴇꜱ
•     Act as a key stakeholder and lead the Finance team in the global S4 implementation project, as well as related ad-hoc Finance activities, contributing to strategic objectives and supporting global-wide Finance initiatives with a global perspective.

ᴍɪɴɪᴍᴜᴍ ᴊᴏʙ ʀᴇǫᴜɪʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴛꜱ
1.    Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related
2.    Professional Certificates/Licenses: CPA as plus
3.    Experience:
(1)    15+ years of accounting/finance experience and min. 5 years of supervisory experience. Big 4 CPA firm experiences is preferred.
(2)    Familiar to IFRS and Taiwan Tax Regulation.
(3)    3+ years working experience in multinational company is a plus.
(4)    Good ERP systems knowledge, SAP is a plus.
4.    Language: Good written and oral English abilities
