The Accounting team has an opening for an Accounting Clerk IV in the Electronic Banking Department-Gift Card desk. This position is located in the National Services Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Main responsibilities:

  • Two or more years accounting experience in a large organization with mainframe-based accounting
  • Good theoretical and practical knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Advanced level PC skills with knowledge of Windows and MS office
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Excels in a team environment
  • Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics

 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Reconcile multiple Gift Card related balance sheet accounts on a weekly basis
  • Reconcile gift card orders to payments and perform research on any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with other teams, division personnel and 3rd parties to ensure accurate gift card activity
  • Use ReconNet tool for reporting and matching
  • Collaborate with customer support team to process gift card activations and devalues
  • Post journal entries weekly
  • Monitor payments for bulk gift card orders and review for approval
  • Coordinate with teams to create process efficiencies.
  • Responsible for coordinating and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Responsible for providing guidance to internal/external customers.
  • Facilitate audits conducted by internal/external entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
