Role Responsibilities: 
  • Maintenance of resources and order operations with manufacturing instructions.
  • Maintenance of Master data: material planning views.
  • Maintenance of post processing errors (errors that sometimes occur in the system during the confirmation of manufacturing and filling instructions, COGI).
  • Coordinating the setup of part numbers in SAP for new products.
  • Working with Order Clearing (complaint management) in the investigation of internal or external complaints.
  • Monitor and manage internal complaints for scrapped batches.
  • Monitor and initiation of recertification (creating and printing of the recertification paperwork, pulling the material, testing samples, and retains).
  • Organize and manage the disposal of hazardous material in our plant with third party companies. Making sure we comply with regulatory and legal laws.
  • Organization and coordinating pick up of non hazardous waste as well as empty cans and totes.
  • Coordination and tracking of protection equipment: respirators and cartridges.
  • Label layouts and labeling equipment, writing work instructions and checklists.
  • Create and perform training on best practice in working ergonomically in production and Logistics.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Requires flexibility and understanding that this position may be required to perform duties outside the duties listed above in order to meet the mission and goals of Mankiewicz Coatings
Role Requirements: 
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
  • Receive hazardous waste training within 6 months of initial employment, and annually thereafter in accordance with the applicable provisions of R.61-79.262.17(a)(7)(ii), (iii) and (iv)(D) of the South Carolina Hazardous Waste Management Regulations (SCHWMR).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Experience with SAP software (preferred)
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Physical Demands: 
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending and reaching.
  • Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
