Background in semiconductor equipment, robotics/motion control
Familiarity with optics/illumination and physics modeling/simulation
Electro-optics engineering
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent hands‑on experience in applied algorithm development
- Strong background in computer vision and/or signal processing, including feature detection, object detection, calibration, optimization, and statistical analysis - at least 5 years
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning methods, tools, and frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for algorithm development and experimentation, with a strong engineering approach (code quality, testing, collaboration)
- Proven experience taking algorithms from concept and prototype to production systems with hardware in the loop (sensors, optics, illumination, motion)
- Experience with calibration and qualification workflows, and comfort balancing trade‑offs between accuracy, robustness, and cycle time
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to design experiments, analyze data, and clearly communicate results to multi-functional teams
