Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer II role at UCT is responsible for designing and supporting fixtures, tooling, and handling solutions that enable safe cleaning, recoating, and recycling of semiconductor manufacturing parts. This position develops CAD models and detailed drawings with GD&T, selects materials compatible with harsh chemical and cleanroom environments, and ensures dimensional accuracy across multiple reuse cycles. It collaborates with production, process, quality, and vendor teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize throughput, and reduce scrap. By driving innovation in fixture design and supporting sustainability initiatives, the Mechanical Design Engineer II strengthens UCT’s operational excellence and leadership in the semiconductor industry.
