Job Description
This role is responsible for helping to build brands and develop brand strategy for new and existing brands across Al Tayer Beauty (UAE & GCC).
This role will need to work and collaborate with our different business channels, helping to develop Trade/ Client experience proposition, vision, values, insights, competitive differentiation and target audience.
Brand development and budgeting is key skill in managing internal and external stakeholders. Managing the expectations and building strong relationships with the stakeholders is highly essential as you will be representing the department/ team, specially within the business and the externals. You will also work and align in close partnership with cross functional centralized departments and brand councils.
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
- To ensure key performance indicators qualitative & quantitative are achieved successfully (sales target & profitability, people management, brand relationship, business expansion etc.).
- To develop & drive trade, strong skills in building brand agenda across the portfolios.
- Focus on brand expansion and the necessary skills to attract our target customers.
- Help to structure research requirements based on market trend & competitive analysis along the brand journey.
- Should be data driven, leveraging target customer and competitive analysis to understand and make strategic decisions.
- Should be able to analyze the collated data, CRM information, as this will help us to understand customer insights and brand positioning.
- Strong communication skills with trade growth in mind.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Brand specialization with the purpose of strategic equities behind the brand, project character, and key differentiators with competition.
- Lead day to day relationship with internal & external stakeholders.
- Lead budget management for full year along inventory OTB and A&P allocation.
- Support all brand strategy requirements across the portfolio through development of new brands and any rebranding, working closely with the businesses.
- Support all brand research requirements (brand development, tracker, brand evaluation) and ensures follow through action plans on findings.
- Assist in development of School of strategic roll out vs initial expansion plan.
- Support all brand capability building curriculum and agenda for coaching requirements in organization of all in person and remote training modules, collection, tabulation, and presentation of attendee feedback with alignment with brand.
- Support maintenance of the brand intellectual property management with legal department.
- Able to organize and deploy full working engagement calendars/events/ PR and lead the way with operational execution.
- Able to simplify complex tasks/ assignments into simple and effective communication/ working tasks.
- Able to plan and organize and juggle multiple priorities driving multiple concurrent projects in an agile environment.
- Support maintenance of the brand intellectual contractual management with legal department.
- Support maintenance and management of a Brand Community Forum to discuss great brand work across business units, where the teams inspire each other with their work that has taken strategy into action and creates winning, innovative, and desirable brands that win hearts and minds of customers and drive customer lifetime value.

People Management Roles and Responsibilities
- Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work.
- To identify key talent in the business and to ensure that a development plan is in place so that we are able to have a career pathway ready for the key seats in the business.
- Prepare business reports monthly /periodically for submission to the Head of Distribution as well as to the stakeholders to enable them monitor the brand image, and success of Trade plan, strategies, sales, inventory, and market intelligence.
Experience
- 5-7 years in the relevant field within the Beauty industry
- Experience in the Beauty industry is essential
- Good knowledge of the strategic and financial indicators.
- Previous experience managing Profit & Loss Account.
- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Strong communication skills and well-balanced personality, a person who can engage and influence leaders in the Business.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment, strong planning skills and ability to manage and monitor performance.
- Familiar with GCC regional trends and insights, keeping a close eye on the brand trends.
- Strong understanding of culture and regional sensitivities.
Languages
- Fluent in English.
- Arabic/ French language is an advantage.
