Job Title: Porter/Dishwasher
Join the dedicated Food Service team at Grand Villa of Englewood, where we are committed to providing exceptional care and service to our residents. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter/Dishwasher to support our dining operations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support food service staff with basic food preparation and delivery as needed
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for meals and events
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or porter role preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
