Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service mail-order/retail customers.
Pharmacy Support is responsible for performing clerical functions to support mail/retail pharmacy business operations.
Job Summary
The Senior Specialist, Pharmacy Support – Learning and Development is responsible for facilitating engaging virtual and instructor-led training programs that support pharmacy operations and drive employee performance. This role partners with Learning & Development and pharmacy leadership to deliver training, identify learning gaps, develop and maintain training materials, and support ongoing system and process enhancements.
Responsibilities
Facilitate training courses across the academy in alignment with strategic business needs.
Partner with Learning Business Partner and Instructional Design and Development HUB resources to execute business initiatives and ensure accurate content is available for and delivered in training courses.
Leverage Learning Technology strategy to support the business, reinforce training and close employee’s performance gaps
Participate in strategic learning projects that align with Business initiative
Provide Attendance, Training Plans, Training Reports and other insights from training courses
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Previous experience with Pharmacy Training development, preferred
Knowledge of Guardian Rx pharmacy management, preferred
Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices, preferred
Experience with virtual delivery applications such as Zoom and MS Teams
Strong oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong work ethic

Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity
Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve

Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
Anticipated salary range: $57,000 - $73,440
