Job Title: Main Line Technician

Schedule: Shifts Vary | Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturdays
Pay: $30-$48 per flag hour (DOE and certifications) Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Freeway Chevrolet is seeking a Main Line Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring vehicles are repaired accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced technician looking to grow in a high-volume, state-of-the-art service environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and A/C systems
• Perform routine maintenance and complete thorough vehicle inspections
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues accurately
• Complete repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer standards
• Communicate additional repair needs and time estimates to Service Advisors
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines
• Document all work performed accurately and completely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Stay current with training and evolving automotive technology

Qualifications

• 3 years of Automotive Technician experience required
• Must have your own tools
• Heavy line and transmission experience preferred
• ASE/GM certifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills
• Ability to complete repairs correctly the first time with high attention to detail
• Strong communication and basic computer skills
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
