Job Description

The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

The Dexcom Medical Affairs Value, Evidence & Outcomes (VEO) team plays a critical role in translating evidence into meaningful insights that demonstrate the real‑world value of Dexcom solutions. We’re a collaborative, cross‑functional group focused on clearly communicating clinical, health economic, and outcomes evidence to payer, value‑based, and healthcare system stakeholders.

If you’re passionate about healthcare innovation, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to make a regional impact, this is the team for you.

Where you come in:

Design & Visual Storytelling

  • You lead the creation of clear, compelling presentations and visual materials for Medical Affairs, driving evidence- and value-based storytelling.

  • You translate complex clinical, economic, and real‑world evidence into impactful visual narratives tailored to diverse audiences.

  • You drive the communication of healthcare, economic, and patient value of Dexcom solutions, particularly for payer and value‑based stakeholders.

Presentation & Graphic Design

  • You design and execute end-to-end high-quality PowerPoint presentations, templates, charts, tables, infographics, and visual systems.

  • You own the transformation of draft narratives, scientific content, and source materials into structured storyboards and compelling visual concepts.

  • You establish, enforce, and evolve formatting, branding, and design standards across all deliverables.

Content Development & Quality Control

  • You translate approved content into polished, audience-ready deliverables, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and visual excellence.

  • You are accountable for ensuring all outputs meet Medical Affairs standards, including accuracy, compliance, and storytelling effectiveness.

  • You lead quality assurance processes, ensuring all content is fit for purpose, insight-driven, and easy to interpret.

Multi-Format Content Development

  • You own the development of multi-format materials, including presentations, discussion guides, newsletters, webinar assets, conference materials, digital resources, and print deliverables.

  • You drive visual strategy for scientific engagements, including meetings and webinars, translating complex study design, results, and implications into clear, engaging content.

Collaboration & Project Leadership

  • You partner strategically with Medical Affairs leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, acting as a trusted creative advisor.

  • You lead and manage multiple concurrent projects end-to-end, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Content Optimization & Asset Management

  • You own the continuous optimization and evolution of existing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging, design, and references.

  • You establish and maintain scalable asset management practices, enabling a structured, searchable library that drives reuse and efficiency.

  • You leverage advanced design tools, data visualization platforms, and emerging technologies (including AI) to improve speed, quality, and overall impact.

What Makes You Successful

  • You bring 3+ years of experience (or equivalent depth) in presentation and graphic design, ideally within corporate, healthcare, medical, scientific, or evidence-driven environments.

  • You confidently engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, visually compelling and strategic narratives.

  • You demonstrate advanced expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and strong proficiency in Word and Excel, alongside hands-on mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Think‑Cell, or similar) and platforms like Canva is an advantage. You are comfortable across Mac and Windows environments and lead best practices in slide architecture, layout design, and animation.

  • You possess a highly refined eye for visual storytelling, information hierarchy, and design systems, with the ability to simplify complex medical, scientific, economic, and outcomes-based information without compromising accuracy.

  • You demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

  • You bring working knowledge of data interpretation and evidence communication, including study results, references, and insights, presented in a credible and compelling manner. Experience supporting Medical Affairs, payer, market access, or evidence-based teams is strongly preferred.

  • You are proactive, adaptable, and intellectually curious, quickly building domain knowledge and applying it effectively. Experience in instructional design, adult learning, interactive content, microsites, or scalable content ecosystems is a plus.

  • Experience in CGM, diabetes, or broader healthcare is beneficial but not required.
