Job Description
This position is part of the Product Development and Manufacturing Support Organization at Laerdal Medical Monterrey. It can be filled at a higher or lower level depending on your individual qualifications. We are looking for someone eager to apply analytical tools, experimental verification, and process knowledge to ensure successful implementation of new designs into production. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with PD tools are essential. Responsibilities Item verification: Validate new parts, tools, and assemblies before release to production. Implementation follow-up: Track and support new tools and processes during pilot runs and production launch. PD tool knowledge: Apply CAD, PLM, and tolerance analysis tools to support design reviews and manufacturability checks. Manufacturing process support: Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards. Tulip and automation: Provide initial guidance and support in evaluating Tulip/automation solutions, assisting the direct responsible in their early implementation and ensuring alignment with process efficiency goals. Cross-functional collaboration: Act as the communication bridge between PD engineers, manufacturing supervisors, and suppliers. Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline implementation and reduce delays in new product launches.
