Training Supervisor – Build Skills, Strengthen Teams, and Shape the Future of Our Claremont Fiber Plant

If you’re passionate about developing people, improving training systems, and creating programs that truly make a difference, this role puts you at the heart of our workforce development efforts. As our Training Supervisor, you’ll help design, coordinate, and deliver training initiatives that support the growth, safety, and performance of every employee at the Claremont Fiber Plant.

You’ll partner closely with Operations, HR, and the broader People Development Team to ensure our workforce is equipped with the skills needed to support a high‑tech, fast‑moving manufacturing environment. From onboarding and leadership development to technical training and college partnerships, you’ll play a key role in building a strong, capable, future‑ready team.

What You’ll Lead

Training Program Coordination

  • Support the implementation of the plant’s training strategy to ensure employees have the skills needed for current and future operations.
  • Coordinate ongoing programs and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Assist in designing and delivering leadership development, internship programs, technical training, and skills‑based learning initiatives.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and define success metrics.

Content, Compliance & Delivery

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of training materials, e‑learning modules, and workshop content.
  • Ensure all training aligns with OSHA/ISO standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, training records, and audit‑ready files.

Team & Partner Support

  • Supervise Training Coordinators and support consistent program delivery across the plant.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, department heads, colleges, vendors, and industry partners to schedule and support training activities.
  • Assist with grant‑funded training programs and external partnerships.

Learning Systems & Reporting

  • Administer learning technology (LMS, SCORM content, tracking, reporting) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Track and report on training impact, onboarding success, compliance metrics, and time‑to‑competency.
  • Maintain a calendar of internal and external training events and support large‑scale initiatives.

Ongoing Projects

Leadership Development Program

  • Support the next iteration of the program by coordinating with department leaders to identify high‑potential participants and ensure smooth execution.

Routine Responsibilities

  • Orientation: Manage bi‑weekly new hire imports and deliver onboarding overviews.
  • HR Stand‑Up: Participate in weekly syncs and track Workday implementation updates.
  • Coordinator 1:1s: Provide feedback and support using the four‑box model.
  • L&D Team Meetings: Participate in bi‑weekly reviews of metrics, turnover, and updates.
  • Inventory: Conduct monthly media room audits and maintain supply levels.
  • Documentation: Perform daily GenSuite ATS audits and ensure follow‑ups are completed.
  • Walkthroughs: Join bi‑weekly team walkthroughs to ensure documentation visibility and compliance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple programs and work effectively across departments.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
