Job Description


Job Summary

  • Prepares endoscopy procedures rooms and required specialized equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assists the physician and/or registered nurse during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes by team collaboration.
  • Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and hospital and unit-specific policies.
  • Follows established policies and procedures for NRHS.
  • Assists with patient tasks as requested by nurse.
  • Maintains environment and instruments.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 6 months of recent health care tech or nurse assistant experience preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

 

Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

Compensation/Benefits

  • $16.72-$27.30/hr depending on previous work experience.
