PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To provide general supervision of the district grounds and facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

High School Diploma/GED

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Ability to record information
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to work effectively with students, staff and public.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)

EXPERIENCE:

None

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Monitor safety and security of district properties during non-school hours.
Assist law enforcement personnel if needed.
Notify police, fire department, or other appropriate authority of any situations requiring immediate attention.
Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands:

Writing routine reports and correspondence.
Interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Maintain emotional control under stress.

Physical demands/environmental factors:

Intermittent walking, sitting and standing.
Reaching with hands and arms frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion.
