Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct daily work activities of shipping dock personnel.
- Operations: Handle shipping and receiving of sensitive electronic equipment.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor dock KPIs to meet daily throughput goals.
- System Processing: Use computers and logistics software to process shipments.
- Problem Solving: Resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and logistics delays.
- Transportation: Drive a company delivery vehicle on occasion for local runs.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in warehouse logistics or shipping.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Leadership: Proven ability to guide teams and delegate tasks effectively.
- Tech Literacy: Proficient in computer systems and shipping software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve dock and inventory issues.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift, push, and safely move electronic equipment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business demands.
