Job Description

[What the role is]

The Centre of Innovation for Electronics and IoT (COI-EIoT) at Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking a Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to planning, designing, and developing innovative IoT-connected electronic products and systems based on customer requirements. You will have the opportunity to explore new IoT technologies, and work with industry partners to deliver successful projects.

[What you will be working on]

·         Assist in planning, managing, and undertaking project development with industry partners.

·         Design and develop software solutions for IoT-connected electronic products and systems based on customer requirements.

[What we are looking for]

·         Qualification in the relevant field such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering.

·         Experience in at least one programming language, such as C/C++ or Python.

·         Familiarity with embedded system design and implementation (IoT, sensors, networking).

·         Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, TCP/IP and RS232/RS485.

·         Experience with wireless network stack such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, Cellular is a plus.
