Service Technician

We are seeking a Service Technician with a “Whatever It Takes” approach to join our maintenance team! In this full-time role, you will help ensure the physical aspects of our 1,381-unit apartment community at Boardwalk at Westlake Apartments, meet company standards, resident expectations, and applicable compliance requirements. As the Service Technician, you will help to: Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep Complete make-readies and assist in maintaining curb appeal and community appearance Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests and resident concerns Communicate clearly with residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership regarding repairs and updates We are looking for a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across multiple maintenance disciplines. HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications are preferred but not required. Compensation & Incentives: Base Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour Up to 50% Rent Discount Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave Hours & Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Paid rotating on-call participation required Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed *Schedule subject to change based on business needs What We’ll Expect From You: Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience #AC4011
