Senior Director, UKI Expansion Sales

Role Overview:
Lead the next phase of growth across Genesys’ UK and Ireland customer base by expanding strategic relationships, accelerating AI adoption, and unlocking new value within existing accounts. This role sits at the centre of Genesys’ agenda, helping leading organisations to deliver world class customer experience through AI-powered engagement at scale.
You will own sales across the portfolio of Genesys customers, shaping growth strategies and influencing C-level stakeholders on their CX and AI roadmaps. At Genesys, we are redefining how organisations connect with customers through empathy, innovation, and AI, and this role plays a critical part in bringing that vision to life across the UKI market.
Leading a team of high-performing Account Executives, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on deal engagement, coaching teams to win complex expansion opportunities while building a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous development. This role offers significant visibility across regional leadership and direct impact on Genesys’ growth in one of its most important markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver expansion sales across Genesys’ UKI enterprise install base, driving consistent overachievement of quota
- Lead and develop a team of Account Executives, enabling high performance through structured coaching, clear accountability, and targeted hiring
- Drive adoption of AI-led solutions across the customer base, positioning Genesys as a strategic partner in AI-powered CX transformation
- Build and expand executive-level relationships, influencing customer strategy and aligning Genesys solutions to long-term business outcomes
- Develop and execute account expansion strategies that increase platform adoption, contract value, and customer lifetime value
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and deal strategy for large-scale, multi-year enterprise opportunities
- Establish rigorous pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and MEDDPICC discipline across the team
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, Marketing, and Partners to accelerate expansion and customer value realisation
- Act as an executive sponsor on key accounts, supporting escalations, renewals, and strategic growth initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Multiple years of leadership experience managing enterprise sales teams
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in enterprise SaaS environments
- Strong experience selling into existing accounts, including expansion, upsell, and multi-year deal cycles
- Demonstrated success leading teams in complex, high-value enterprise sales environments
- Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders
- Experience scaling and hiring high-performing enterprise sales teams
- Based in the United Kingdom with strong knowledge of the UKI enterprise market
