We have an exciting opportunity to join our Vision Care team as an Application & Network Remote Support Specialist, based in Tonsley, SA. In this role, you will provide specialised remote technical support across ZEISS devices, network environments, and digital ordering platforms, ensuring connectivity, performance, and service excellence across customer sites
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end incident intake, triage, documentation, and case resolution using Salesforce and other systems
- Provide escalation support and assist in resolving complex technical issues across ZEISS VTS and connectivity environments
- Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting across ZEISS devices and customer network environments
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, and VPN configurations
- Support system setup, installation readiness, and commissioning activities in collaboration with internal teams and customers
- Coordinate installation support, equipment checks, and SWAP or replacement activities as required
- Assist with data transfer, backup and restore activities for system upgrades and replacements
- Support connectivity and integration of ordering platforms such as VISUSTORE and Rx Connect
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and global support to resolve issues efficiently
- Prepare reporting on case activity, performance metrics, and continuous improvement opportunities
Key skills required include:
- Demonstrated experience in technical support, remote troubleshooting, and structured incident management
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, routing, VPN, firewall coordination)
- Experience diagnosing connectivity and integration issues across systems and platforms
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and strong documentation practices
- Experience with remote access tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders
- Commitment to security, compliance, and best practice in handling customer data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
