About the Opportunity
Salem Hospital, a proud member of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a dedicated Nocturnist to join our thriving Department of Medicine. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high-quality inpatient medicine within a collaborative, patient-centered environment while working overnight shifts in a well-supported hospital setting.
As a Nocturnist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to hospitalized patients during evening and overnight hours. You will join a collegial and mission-driven team committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and education.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide comprehensive overnight inpatient coverage, including admissions, cross-coverage, and acute care management.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives to drive clinical excellence.
- Work with a dynamic team in a collegial environment that values respect, kindness, and teamwork.
- Opportunity to mentor and teach Internal Medicine residents affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine.
- Contribute to innovative care practices that enhance provider and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based medicine.
