What You'll Do
- Service and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and system inspections to maximize performance and equipment life.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC systems.
- Swap out or repair failed components — motors, compressors, fans, thermostats, and more.
- Read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Keep customers and teammates informed of service findings and recommendations.
- Complete accurate service records covering work performed, parts installed, and system status.
- Follow all applicable safety standards, local codes, and company procedures.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification a plus.
- 4+ years of field experience as an HVAC Service Technician or comparable role.
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents.
- Sharp troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Clear communicator with strong customer-facing instincts.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- NATE certification or equivalent credential.
- Commercial HVAC background.
- Experience using digital service platforms or mobile work order tools.
