We are looking for a Materials Specialist.

 

 

What will you do? 

Join our Procurement Execution Center as a Material Specialist, where you will support Category Managers, PBU Buyers and Plant buyers by ensuring process standardization, data accuracy, and operational efficiency. You will execute core material management activities, assist with procurement tasks, and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain smooth material flow and compliance across the supply chain.

How will you do it?

  • Work with ERP systems to run reports and monitor dashboard performance.

  • Ensure 100% availability of assigned dashboards by proactively troubleshooting and resolving data issues.

  • Participate in global teams to align SAP best practices across business units.

  • Update MOQ, UOM, and Payment Terms in Material Master and PIR records to support continuous improvement.

  • Suggest process improvements based on data analysis and compliance requirements.

  • Drive disciplined monthly/quarterly reviews with plant materials teams to maintain credibility in component master data.

  • Use standardized update formats and conduct monthly process improvement reviews across each Business Unit.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of lead times in ERP systems.

  • Verify compliance through weekly inbound audit reports.

  • Communicate and enforce standardized labeling and packing slip requirements with suppliers.

  • Provide solutions to material movement obstacles by analyzing and improving policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?  

  • 1+ years of experience in Materials Management (planning and procurement basics).

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Strong MS Office skills; advanced Excel preferred (e.g., Arrays, INDEX/MATCH).

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean/Quality tools.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Capability to learn and understand business categories to develop sound judgment.

  • Knowledge in Data Analytics.

  • APICS or ISM CPSM certifications are a plus.

  • Business/conversational English required.
