What you’ll do:

Job summary

Primary responsibility is to manage and ensure sales objectives for Eaton in Panama, it includes follow up to channels performance, select correct accounts and end users to warranty growing from Eaton in this market place and coordinate with vertical organization (Strategic Accounts & Utilities/Infrastructure) for active participation of Eaton in these segments. Leveraging marketing resources and programs designed for this country.     

Job responsibilities

A.Implement and lead, the sales plan develop for Panamá to achieve planned goals. Implement customers plan visit defined by management (presential) to ensure increase business relationship with customers, new opportunities identification and alert of competitors actions. 
B. Deliver to  CR&PA manager and Regional management quarterly, monthly and weekly booking forecast base on market inputs to meet commitments and feed rest of organization processes.      
C.Weekly review with all involved areas of the organization orders plan progress for month and quarter, as well as projects pipeline opportunities identified and register in Eaton’s CRM by his team. 
D. Implement all required actions to ensure Standard Marging defined for his market in Profit Plan.
E.Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities, and communicate such information to top management and marketing. 
F.Maintain a teaming, cooperative and credible working relationship with other company personnel to assure customer satisfaction. 
G.Manage the allocated budged of sales expenses and maximize it use to growth the business, ensure expense reports deliver in a timely manner. 
H.Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines, and use sound business judgment to enhance margins. 
I.Support total quality effort by providing timely and accurate information for order entry
J.Elevate quality issues to attention of management
K.Ensure that accurate information flows to and from customers
L.Implement along with his team all marketing programs/innitiatives (new product programs as needed, collect analyze and utilize market intelligence data on competitive products, demand generation and promotions, as well as channels programs) to warranty continues growing for Eaton in the market place.
M.Provide necessary reports and surveys requested by management in a timely manner.
N.To comply with the responsibilities of the position in relation with MESH and EQS Management Systems 
O.Implement marketing programs/initiatives developed to grow in Panama market.
P.Develop and support necessary channel network (specialized distributors, panelbuilders, wholesalers, generalistics and service partners) to grow in focus markets.
Q.Lead the implementation of demand generation plan with end users and channels to increase customers knowledge about Eaton’s solutions.
R. Lead and support key innitiatives to grow in strategic segments defined by Eaton (Utilities, Data Centers, Infrastructure, Construction, Retailers others).
S. Apply the One Eaton philosophy as a win strategy. 

Qualifications:

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Electronic Engineering. Candidates from related fields may be considered only if they demonstrate strong, proven technical expertise in electrical solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, with a strong focus on execution within the electrical market in Panama. Proven track record of achieving commercial targets, along with strong public relations and teamwork capabilities.
  • Intermediate level of English (oral and written); advanced level is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Solid experience developing and delivering technical-commercial presentations and proposals to customers, channel partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical solutions from Eaton or similar manufacturers, relevant to the markets served.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences effectively.
  • Knowledge of products and applications related to construction and/or critical power infrastructure (e.g., UPS, data centers, or similar environments).
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, channel dynamics, and technical applications of electrical products.
  • Self-driven, proactive professional with strong market awareness and competitive knowledge.

Desirable

  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms.
