MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of a new and rapidly developing orthopedic practice, offering broad-based orthopedic care with the autonomy to tailor your practice to your interests.
We are looking for a surgeon skilled in the full spectrum of general orthopedics—including fracture care, sports injuries, joint conditions, arthroscopy, and elective procedures—who is committed to delivering excellent outcomes in a collaborative, patient?centered environment. With strong institutional support, dedicated OR access, and robust APP coverage, you’ll step into a role designed for both immediate impact and long-term growth.

Qualifications
MD or DO
ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible required
Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses
Broad clinical and surgical skill set in general orthopedics
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons
Compensation & Benefits
Two-year guaranteed salary: $739,410, with production beginning at 10,650 wRVUs
Straight production model beginning year 3
Potential to earn $1M+ annually
$100,000 recruitment incentive
Relocation assistance up to $15,000
