Pan-Oston is seeking high-potential, highly motivated and skilled team players to join our team!

 

We have an immediate opening for the following position:

 

PAINTER

 

 

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:

Responsible for all activities involving production paint including but not limited to the following:

• • Read blueprints or shop drawings to determine method and sequence of paint
  • Identify and obtain all materials needed for project at hand by color, part number, and description
  • Clean and prepare surfaces to be painted
  • Prepare and apply paint in accordance with paint manufacturer, blueprints, and/or customer specifications
  • Identify and report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product or equipment to supervisor
  • Maintain product quality with minimal unplanned stops
  • Load and Unload paint line at production rates
  • Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Maintain paint supplies and equipment
• Observe and follow company safety rules and training procedures to operate necessary equipment
  • Required to wear respirator
• Perform all other duties, as assigned

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Abilities)

• Must be able to work 1st shift, with flexibility to come in early or stay over as needed
• Communication skills
• Knowledge of production paint and warehouse procedures
• Ability to read and understand blueprints or drawings
• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, basic hand functions, and stand for long periods of time

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are up to 40 pounds. The TEAM LIFT method is to be employed for items weighing more than 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Full body motion is required.
