The Blackford County Outreach Advocate provides compassionate support to individuals and families who have experienced sexual violence and/or intimate partner violence. This role focuses on active listening, crisis response, problem-solving, and connecting survivors with community resources to support healing and safety.

  •  Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  •  Experience working with individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, and/or stalking.
  •  Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and advocacy within support systems.
