Coordinator of Cila Medical Services

Program: CILA

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm (some flexibility)

Pay: $50,000 salary

Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency specializing in providing innovative tools, services and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.

The Medical Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of medical services for CILA clients including transportation to medical appointments, administrative duties related to medical appointments, all other duties related to the administration of CILA medical services. 

Essential Functions:

1. Provide supervision and training for new and existing Medical Drivers.

1. Supervision of Medical Assistants. 

1. Consult with CILA Management concerning client needs, long-term goals, and individual objectives as they relate to medical services. 

1. Provide assistance and problem resolution to Medical Drivers both in the field and in the office. 

1. Supervise and address any issues related to the scheduling of Medical Clinics for clients, including, but not limited to Podiatry, Vision, Dental and Psychiatric Clinics. 

1. Provide assistance to the CILA Nurses with respect to any medically related issues.

1. Preside at or assign staff meetings as necessary. 

The Coordinator must have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 year of experience in related field
• Valid IL driver's license
