Job Summary:**

Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated R&D Trainee/Apprentice/VIE-3 to contribute to innovative projects within our research and development department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience and professional growth in a dynamic automotive technology environment.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of new automotive components and systems.
* Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results to support R&D initiatives.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and design reviews.
* Participate in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis for technical issues.
* Support the integration and validation of prototypes and pre-production samples.
* Learn and apply various engineering tools and methodologies relevant to automotive R&D.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
* Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and Valeo's product roadmap.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* Strong academic record with a passion for automotive technology and R&D.
* Basic understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) is a plus.
* Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
* Prior internship or project experience in an R&D setting is a benefit.
