Job Description
Location: Nussir Project Site (Kvalsund), Hammerfest, Troms og Finnmark, Norway (on site)

Duration: Full-time
Reporting Line: Materials Management & Warehouse Lead
Purpose
The role requires a structured and hands-on operator responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics activities for both the project and future operations. The position ensures safe handling, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials and equipment required for site activities. The role will develop into an operational position and will work closely with the Materials Management & Warehouse Lead to build competence, systems understanding, and best practices for long-term operations.
Scope & Accountability
- Support receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials, equipment, and consumables
- Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies
- Perform safe handling of materials including mining equipment, spare parts, and consumables
- Support implementation of inventory control principles (FIFO, stock levels, traceability)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in SAP
- Support warehouse layout, storage optimization, and housekeeping
- Assist with picking, packing, and issuing materials to construction and operations
- Coordinate with logistics and expediting for receipt and tracking of deliveries
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification activities
- Support preservation and storage requirements for equipment and materials
- Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or risks impacting inventory or operations
- Ensure compliance with HSE, company procedures, and warehouse standards
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes
- Learn and develop competencies under guidance of Warehouse Lead
- Submit warehouse and inventory reports as required.
Authorities
- Execute warehouse and logistics activities within defined procedures
- Stop or report unsafe handling or storage practices
- Reject or report non-compliant deliveries and discrepancies
- Ensure data accuracy in SAP for inventory and movements
- Escalate risks impacting inventory, safety, or operations
- Support enforcement of warehouse processes and standards
- Initiate corrective actions for inventory discrepancies under guidance
- Operate warehouse systems and tools within defined authority.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years related experience in supply chain, procurement and logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
