About the role:
Verify and document that all components used to manufacture forklifts conform to current process documentation, engineering prints, and design specifications (engineering standards). Maintains the highest working knowledge of Logisnext's quality standards. Assists with root cause analysis investigations in the resolution of product issues.
What you will do:
- Verify and report on product conformity to current engineering prints and design specifications (Engineering Standards)
- Write, edit, and perform CMM programs based on engineering prints or functional alignments, utilizing standard GD&T methodologies
- Completes with accuracy all receiving inspection requirements, related documentation, and data entry
- Conducts process audits to ensure the manufacturing processes are clearly defined, understood, and followed
- Always acts in a professional and courteous manner, representing Logisnext's highest standards of business conduct
- Support departmental safety and 5S3T goals
- Adheres to all environmental, health, safety, and quality policies in order to assist Logisnext in reaching our goals
When & Where:
- This position is 100% in the factory. The tech will work side by side with production
- Bending, kneeling, and lifting within ergonomic limits
- Standing position for 8-10 hours per day
What you need to have:
- H.S. diploma or GED; Preferred: Two-year-related technical degree
- Two years of quality experience
- PC-DMIS programming and utilization experience is highly desired
- ASQ certified inspector
